It is very astonishing feeling when we hear that most of the people in Rajasthan resides in the rural area which after all is a very good feeling rather than staying up a hectic life in an urban and well-developed area. In Rajasthan or else rather we should say that many rural areas are the pioneers of folk dances and arts which they mostly receive from tribal people living in the outskirts of the village. The most important thing related to rural life is that there is no hustle bustle as in like cities and the environment is also too much pleasing that it reenergize the individual who pays the visit.
Visiting there puts a very nice impact on the lifestyle such that we get to know a lot more about the actual life, values etc. We get to live in their handmade mud houses as well as to try new attired and outfits with extremely delicious cuisines which mesmerize the city people. spending two or three days with them in their peaceful environment is very grateful since there are no surroundings in our locality. Being lucky will be one who gets to celebrate festivals with them.
Rajasthan with the deserts is quite much populated as villages are scattered around the whole land and cattle is much more witnessed which is an indication of human settlement around the region. When someone visits a rural village an individual gets to witness a typical old civilization. Houses made up of mud and walls coated with plaster of clay and cow dung which also prevent mosquitoes to enter when separately burnt aside. There are baras made up of dry sticks and sharp thorns which also prevent burglars to enter.
Eco-friendly houses and outfits:-
The houses which are being constructed are mostly made up of material which causes no harm to nature. In large villages, houses are built with bricks and cement which also belongs to some VIPs that is Zamindar Family Which consists of a courtyard on any of the side of the house. The front part of the house is decorated with some special designs to attract the visitors which are made out of bright colors. The outfits of the people are very colorful which include turbans of saffron and red color and saree, dhotis different jewelry very women which have to cover their foreheads.
Rule of Rajputs:-
Rajput has always been superior and very faithful to their kings and rulers that they were appointed to make up the army, prepare their cavalry and served their kings but their main occupation was agriculture so they used to use workers on the wages and appoint them to work on the field.
The region of belief:-
This is the land is many regional beliefs related to god, with every home having at least one picture in their house at which they daily pray and perform their rituals and sing at least one song related to god daily. While there are also some of the superstitions which are quite astonishing. Well, some of the main gods and goddesses like Shiva, Kaali Maa etc.
Some of the food available here is very mesmerizing the mind with the authentic taste. Usually, breakfast included a glass full of tea and bread with butter and lunch includes roti with some spicy red chutney. One of the special cuisines is made up of baked bread, porridge and is specially served with yogurt and it includes some freshly boiled vegetables and beans.
Village people tend to gather together at many places as well as occasions. Daily men sit together at the tea stall and talk about their daily life and share some problem and would clear it out among the people. Furthermore, they usually meet up at the peepal tree and used to do the same talks and also while they used to take their cattle and sheep to drink water. Women mostly get to talk during household work about the dinner and lunch and while going to collect water from the well in their earthen pots.
Funfair used to be one of the miracles because it used to take place only on special occasions like marriage, festivals etc. Mostly the Rajput family used to organize it and it was an occasion where the whole village used to be there for the celebration and enjoy their whole time with their family and friends.
