Kumbhalgarh Sanctuary: – The Kumbhalgarh Sanctuary is located at the Araveli in Pali to Rajsamand of Udaipur District. The sanctuary extends over about an area of 578 sq.km with an overall altitude of 500 to 1300m. The natural beauty of the sanctuary attracts many tourist people. You can enjoy the sightseeing with help of horse safari with help of local tourist guides.
While reaching through the cities you can visit many animals like Chinkaras, neelgais even on the way to Kumbhalgarh. From Ghanero, it is just about 90 km. As overall, one has the route direction about Udaipur – Pali – Jodhpur Road.
The animals include Sambhar, Nilgai, Chaisingh, Chinkara, Jungle Cat, Jackal, Wolf, Sloth Bear, and Hyena. The birdlife is slightly different as there are endangered species like red spur owls, Parakeets, Golden Oriole, Bulbul, Dove, White Breasted Kingfisher, and Grey Pigeons.
When you see about the region, where the Sanctuary is present has unique lush greenery where one can find the rare wolf. In common, if it is summer season there is heavy watery scarcity in the place. During these times, wolves always roam and search for water. So be careful while visiting the sanctuary.
