Sariska Wildlife Sanctuary: – When you decide to visit the wildlife, you need to have enough knowledge about how to reach, things to see, and species present. Actually, the landscape has hills and narrow valleys of the Aravali hills. The Sariska has a different structure that comprises of the scrub-aid forest, deciduous forest, rocks, and even grasses. However, when compared to Ranthambore it has fewer tigers and other plants. At first, Sariska is a sanctuary from 1955 but after 1979, it became a National Park.

Species Found in the National Park

  • Carnivores - Wild dog, Leopard, Civets Hyena, jackal, Tiger, and Jungle Cat
  • Other Species - Sambar, Nilgai, Chital, Langur, Wild Boar, Rhesus Monkeys, and Chausingha
  • Bird Species - Grey Partridge, Bush Quail, Sand Grouse, Tree Pie, WoodPecker, Indian Horned Owl, and Peafowl

Ways to reach the place

By Railway - The Alwar is the nearest station to reach. Trains like Jammu JP Express, Mandor Express, DLI JSM Express, HW ADI Mail, and Ashram Express By Roadway - The sanctuary is present at Delhi- Alwar- Jaipur Road. The road even connects from Delhi through NH8 By Airway - The nearest Airport is Jaipur, which is at a distance of 107 km

Perfect time to Visit

The best way to visit the place is from October to April. But, the National Park is open all the year round.
